Hope to Dream Website Overview
Hope to Dream is Ashley Furniture’s Non-profit website. Since 2010, Hope to Dream has provided children in need with over 140,000 beds, improving their sleeping conditions and leading to a higher quality of life. This project was special for me due to its charitable nature and wide outreach. I was able to join one of the deliveries and it was a very emotional event. Working with the program leader, I was able to provide a fun and informative set of high fidelity wireframes leading to an increase in program participation.

Project Origins
This project began outside of traditional channels. After learning about the program and its benefits, I became curious about how participants interacted with the charity. Families could only sign up for selection using a form buried in the footer of the website, making it difficult to find. Recognizing the need to give this program the visibility it deserved, I proposed the idea of building a dedicated site to the program director, aiming to showcase its many great features and expand its reach.
The Home Page
I entered this project with 3 objectives in mind: Make it clean, fun and informative. Clean, so that users could easily find the form and other content. Fun, due to the nature of the recipients of the cause, it needed to show parents and guardians how Hope to Dream inspires and impacts the children and the community. And last, but not least, the site needed to expand far beyond the scope of just a form. It needed to provide content on the partners and workers behind the scenes. Also worth noting is that I put together all of the creative assets, such as stock photography and custom icons.
